Dr. Seuss was very involved with the US during WWII
Dr. Seuss was very active During WWII. He wrote 400 political cartoons in two years. He denounced Hitler and Mussolini as monsters. He criticized isolationists such as Charles Lindbergh. He actually joined the army as a captain and was commander of the Animation Department. In this role he created the Private Snafu which is about a failure of a soldier and a training video for real soldiers, Your Job in Germany which was a propaganda movie about peace in Europe after WWII, and he also made Your Job in Japan which was a propaganda movie about peace in Japan after WWII. He was awarded the legion of Merit for his contributions to the war. He depicted all Japanese people as enemies.(Dr. Seuss)
